Research on Improving of Quality Management of Domestic Motor in Nuclear Power Plant

Compared with the motor quality of foreign manufacturers, domestic motor manufacturers still need to improve the design, manufacture and installation quality of nuclear-grade motors. For nuclear power plants, by improving the quality of domestic motors, enhancing the substitution level and application scale of domestic motors, can ensure the nuclear safety. This paper investigates the typical events of motor defects in nuclear power plant, analyzes the common problems of motor quality in nuclear power plant, and puts forward the challenges faced by the quality improvement of domestic motors. Based on the current situation of domestic motors in nuclear power plant in China, through absorbing external experience feedback and good practice, this paper puts forward some measures to improve the quality of domestic motors in nuclear power plant, such as establishing motor defect treatment process, replacing key components, improving equipment manufacturing quality process control, and strengthening foreign material prevention management.
