Correlation Analysis of Altitude and Lightning Trip Rate Based on R Language

To explore the relationship between altitude and lightning trip rate, this paper uses R language to study the monitoring data of lightning positioning system in a certain area from 2012 to 2022. The changes in altitude and lightning trip rate of different voltage levels in this area were analyzed, and the correlation between the two was visually displayed. On the basis of correlation analysis, a regression model of the two is established, and the univariate linear mathematical relationship expression of altitude and lightning trip rate is obtained. The results show that there is a strong positive correlation between altitude and lightning trip rate, and the fitting effect of the regression analysis model is better, which provides an important basis for further research on lightning-related problems and provides a reference for the improvement and optimization of lightning information system.
