Research and Application of an Intelligent Anesthesia Drug Management System Based on Internet of Things Technology

This study aimed to analyze the application effect of intelligent medication management system in clinical anesthesia management and explore its role in enhancing the quality and safety of anesthesia management. Through a literature review approach, this study analyzed the practical application of intelligent medication management system in clinical anesthesia management and summarized its application effect and advantages. Simultaneously, a thorough analysis of its limitations and shortcomings is conducted. The research results indicate a significant positive impact of intelligent medication management system on clinical anesthesia management. Firstly, the system achieves rapid drug dispensing and distribution by automatically calculating drug usage and inventory levels, greatly shortening dispensing time and improving the efficiency of anesthesia management. Secondly, electronization of drug management ledger and shift turnovers enhances the accuracy and reliability of anesthesia management, reducing errors and loopholes in administration. Additionally, the system automatically identifies the standardized use of anesthetic drugs, warns against their excessive use and abuse, further enhancing the safety of anesthesia management.
