摘要

This study looks into the critical role of emotional intelligence (EI) in our daily lives, particularly in the constructive management of emotions. When people are under pressure or encounter threats, they frequently suffer stress, which usually arises from uncontrollable circumstances. The primary purpose of the study, which has a total sample size of 105 participants, is to assess the relationship between EI and perceived stress (PSS). In terms of EI, females outperform males, accounting for 54% of the sample. However, based on the overall assessment, the general population's EI is average, owing to the lower interpersonal awareness (Inter PA) component when compared with the other three EI dimensions. Notably, 44% of respondents are severely stressed. Correlation research finds a substantial inverse relationship.
