Micromechanics Mechanical Hysteresis of Ceramic-Matrix Composites Under Cyclic Fatigue at Elevated Temperature
摘要
In this chapter, the mechanical hysteresis and damage evolution in C/SiC ceramic-matrix composites (CMCs) under cyclic fatigue loading at elevated temperatures were investigated. The micromechanical fatigue hysteresis loops models considering multiple matrix cracking modes were developed to establish the relationships between fatigue hysteresis loops, fatigue hysteresis dissipated energy, and interface degradation. Evolution of fatigue hysteresis dissipated energy and interface shear stress versus applied cycles were analyzed.
