A Study on the Export Trend Forecast of Chinese Pharmaceutical Industry Based on GM (1,1) Model

This study aimed to forecast the exports of Chinese pharmaceutical industry by GM (1,1) gray forecasting model. The data of the study are taken from China’s pharmaceutical industry exports from 2001 to 2020. The prediction results show that China’s pharmaceutical industry exports are still on a steady upward trend and are expected to reach $28,330.5 million by 2027. The prediction accuracy of the model was tested to be superior, the fit between the model and the data was high, and the accuracy of the prediction results was credible, so the gray prediction model can be applied to the research field of pharmaceutical industry export prediction.
