摘要

Parasitic disease epidemics refer to the current status of parasitic disease transmission involving infection sources, transmission routes, and susceptible populations, and various factors affecting the transmission of parasitic diseases, that reflecting the intensity and scope of parasitic disease transmission. Surveillance of parasitic disease outbreaks refers to continuous, and systematic collection of parasitic disease data and influencing factors through analysis and exploitation that can objectively reflect the occurrence and development trends and changes so that relevant personnel can gain a timely understanding of certain time and space distribution characteristics, risk factors, occurrence patterns, and progress. Then, they can make early-control plans or preparation to take targeted preventive measures, respond rapidly to possible parasitic disease outbreaks, and evaluate the effects of interventions.
