Population Mobility

Population migration and mobility is never an outdated topic. It is not only a phenomenon showing demographic change, but also an important indicator of historical, social and economic changes. Forty years into reform and opening up and 70 years into the founding of the PRC, China has witnessed rapid social transformation and economic development. Great achievements have been made which have attracted worldwide attention. Accordingly, along with the rapid social transformation, China’s population migration has gone through several stages, each with its own characteristic of the time.
