This chapter explores the determinants of the RMB's influence on a group of currencies with the following structure. The first section proposes the hypothesis and sets empirical models accordingly. The second section gives descriptive statistics of the data. The third section shows and analyzes the empirical results. The fourth section summarizes and puts forward policy suggestions.
