Intelligent Tutoring Systems for Multidisciplinary Education

摘要

In Industry 4.0, an Intelligent Tutoring System (ITS) was expected to give personalized intelligent recommendations to learners, teachers, and administrators using the ITS. The intelligence in ITS is generated through agents using Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics. Personalization in Education 5.0 requires a unique digital pedagogy to ensure a human touch in a virtual world. The inclusion of Sustainability Education in Education 5.0 serves this purpose. The paper explores digital pedagogy to find out how it can be applied effectively for multidisciplinary education. Exploratory research was conducted to explore digital learning solutions of Education 4.0 and build a digital multidisciplinary education model. To exemplify the differences between different fields of study and their pedagogical differences, two learning algorithms of conventional subjects (computer programming and moral education) were compared. Components of the multidisciplinary education model include a repository, learner profile, and learning algorithms.
