UNFAZEDROADS: Pothole Management System

The pothole management system aims to have a safe and comfortable journey by providing a Realtime solution for pothole detection. We aim that the transparent system of pothole detection will even enhance the speed of work done regarding the pothole by corresponding authorities. Currently potholes are very concerning issue in most sub-urban areas of India, even metro cities have some areas with bad road condition. Hence to address this issue we are proposing a website where people can upload images of potholes and report them. The authorities will get the images sent by people along with the address. The website provides Realtime tracking so that there will be transparency in work. The Project has very user-friendly UI which enhances usability. We have implemented technology like HTML, CSS, Javascript for the functioning of project. The CSS used is extremely minimal and user friendly. The reporting portal will contain information of the reporter and address of pothole along with image of pothole. There is a login facility to avoid malicious inputs and to keep database free from trash inputs. Along with that the location of potholes would help people to avoid the road due to its poor conditions. The system will serve people in very astonishing ways and will cut down the traditional approach of complaining in PWD offices.
