Classification of Mobile Images Using Inception V3 Algorithm

In recent times there has been a significant requirement for mobile phones. It has been seen that there is an exponential increase in sales of mobile phones. While the lifespan of these phones has become shorter. The only solution for reducing mobile waste is recycling. As per the European government directive, manufacturers are obligated to recycle their respective mobile waste. However, sometimes when damaged mobile devices are submitted for recycling, identifying the original manufacturer can be challenging. This paper proposes Inception v3 algorithm to determine the manufacturer of these damaged mobiles. Inception v3 is used for classification of objects. Mobile images are classified using TensorFlow platform, the overall architecture of the classification system proposed for identifying mobile manufacturers. The System takes mobile images as an input. Htc, iphone, Motorola, Samsung, and Xiaomi images are taken for classification. In this paper, the mobile images are divided into 10 classes as front and back images of mobile.
