UAV Path Planning Method for Key Target Reconnaissance Mission

Aiming at the problems of path quality and image quality in UAV reconnaissance path planning in complex battlefield environment, a UAV path planning method for key target reconnaissance mission was proposed. Firstly, a reconnaissance path planning model is established according to the relationship between path and image quality. Secondly, considering the limitations of classical swarm intelligence algorithm in dealing with high-dimensional optimization problems, based on the introduction of snake optimization algorithm, circle chaotic map population initialization and multi-population cooperative search strategy were designed to improve the search ability of the algorithm, and path smoothing operator was introduced to further optimize the path. The simulation results show that this method has stronger searching ability and robustness, and can obtain feasible and effective reconnaissance path.
