An Accurate and Robust Effectiveness Evaluation Method for an Unmanned Swarm in Performing a Specific Task

摘要

The effectiveness evaluation of unmanned swarms is a new research problem with the collective development of unmanned systems. This paper presents an accurate and robust effectiveness evaluation method for an unmanned swarm specialized in performing a specific type of task. The proposed effectiveness evaluation method appropriately exploits the objective weighting method to assign the weights of effectiveness evaluation indicators established for a specific type of task, and innovatively introduces multiple hypothesis test methods to obtain a central effectiveness evaluation value for an unmanned swarm according to its set of accidental effectiveness evaluation values obtained on a similar set of tasks with the same complexity and to judge whether the value is statistically equal to a pre-established reference effectiveness value obtained from a reference unmanned swarm based on the same central effectiveness evaluation method. Meanwhile, this paper also realized a case study evaluating the effectiveness of a simulated unmanned ground vehicle swarm specialized in a particular besieging task to prove the efficiency of the method.
