The Deep Integration of UAVs and Artificial Intelligence

Since the emergence of the term Artificial Intelligence (AI), it has gone through several stages of development, and the gap between science fiction and reality is gradually closing. Artificial Intelligence has influenced the development of many traditional and emerging industries in every aspect. Artificial intelligence technology has achieved fruitful results in many fields, such as multimedia learning, data mining, human-computer interaction, etc. These developments are pushing more industries to embark on a brighter path, and drones are one of them. This paper describes the current combination of artificial intelligence technology and uncrewed aircraft, discusses the application and development of artificial intelligence technology in uncrewed aircraft from two aspects, namely, the military occupation and the civilian area, and looks forward to the following research direction.
