A Preventive Maintenance Strategy of Wind Turbine Gearbox Based on Stochastic Differential Equation

Due to the double carbon target in China, the use of wind power in practical applications is becoming more and more widespread. Therefore, the preventive maintenance (PM) of wind turbine equipment has become an important research topic. At present, PM mainly focuses on time based maintenance (TBM), supplemented by state based maintenance (CBM), each with its own advantages and disadvantages. Therefore, this paper proposes the joint preventive maintenance of TBM and CBM, mathematically modelling, simulating and analyzing the TBM and CBM strategies based on stochastic differential equations (SDE), and deriving the joint maintenance strategy of the two to make use of their respective advantages and avoid the disadvantages. Eventually, the usability and validity of the proposed model and the soundness of the preventive maintenance strategy are verified and analyzed through examples.
