Emerging Issues in Polish Education Law

The purpose of this piece is to synthetically present emerging legal problems in the education system in Poland. It should be noted that the Polish system is grounded in various legal acts, while the right to education plays a pivotal role. The realization of the right to education under pandemic and during the war in Ukraine has put the Polish authorities in a difficult situation. On one hand, there was a need to continue teaching in a remote mode, and on the other hand to ensure efficient communication between children and teachers, including children of different ethnic and religious backgrounds . This chapter shows how preserving rights in these circumstances was a challenge for relevant public bodies.
