Introduction

This chapter provides a broad overview of the evolution of East European policy towards developing countries, the broad contours of Poland’s policy towards South Asia in the Cold War and post-Cold War era and highlights Poland sought to reorient its strategies towards Asia–Pacific since the 2000s. It provides a succinct overview of the chapters in the volume.
