In the industrial culture approach, the relevant research assumes that the processes of technology development and application are dependent on extra-technical parameters to an unexpectedly high degree. Beyond socioeconomic, political, and institutional variables, the industrial culture approach provides a consistent set of mutually influencing dimensions and variables. In order to be able to grasp the effectiveness of industrial cultural factors on the development processes of technical systems, it is necessary to use the structural interaction of all dimensions for assessment.
