Work and Business Process Orientation

  • Felix Rauner

摘要

There are two findings in particular that have led to far-reaching effects in the practice and organization of entrepreneurial processes and the qualification of skilled workers in the vocational education discussion: (1) The withdrawal of horizontal and vertical division of labor strengthens the productivity and competitiveness of companies. (2) The implementation of lean, process-oriented corporate concepts is dependent on vocational training that allows tasks and responsibilities to be shifted to the work processes that directly create value. The modernization of companies through the introduction of business-process-oriented organizational concepts goes hand in hand with a significant upgrading of vocational education and training. The concept of process and design-oriented vocational education and training can be based on four basic pedagogical principles and guiding ideas: (1) The guiding idea of the learning company; (2) business-process-oriented organizational structures; (3) vocational training and company organizational development; and (4) work process knowledge and its didactic function in the process of vocational competence and identity development.
