Reflections on Sociality
摘要
Reading evolutionary anthropologist Robin Dunbar’sDunbar, R. Human Evolution, I was struck by the evolution of human socialitySociality. DunbarDunbar, R., who proposed the “Dunbar’sDunbar, R. number,” noted that there are different population sizes, such as 5, 15, 50, 150, 500, and 1500 people, and the number of each level is approximately three times that of the previous level. This pattern is universal across cultures.
