A Method for Determining the Water Drive Front by Using the Effective Utilization Ratio of Water Injection

In view of the problems of water flooding contradiction, water flooding efficiency decreasing year by year and inaccurate prediction of water flooding scope after low permeability reservoir entering the stage of middle and high water cut, the method of determining the water flooding front position of water injection well is studied in depth, the mathematical model is established and combined with well test data to accurately calculate the position of water drive front in different time periods in each direction of well group, considering non-darcy and water injection efficiency, the mathematical model is modified and perfected, and finally verified by inspection well group data. The results show that this method is more accurate and practical, and can accurately evaluate the utilization of water injection, accurately predict the range and direction of water flooding, it can effectively guide the study of water drive law, water injection optimization adjustment and remaining oil tapping potential.
