Experimental Study on Fretting Wear Mechanism of Conductor-Fitting System in Distribution Net

Distribution network wire clip systems are affected by breeze vibration, and micro-motion wear occurs at the electrical contact interface, triggering wire clip failure. In this paper, a wire clip micromotion wear test bench was established to explore the effects of installation torque and vibration amplitude on the micromotion wear of electrical contacts. The results show that: with the increase of mounting torque, the microscopic damage on the electrical contact surface decreases, and the contact resistance decreases; the electrical contact performance decreases with the increase of amplitude, the contact resistance fluctuates to different degrees, and the wear area gradually develops from the adhesion area to the mixing area or even to the complete slippage area, and the wear increases.
