Investigation of Variable Radius Base Circle Involute Control Coefficient for Scroll Compressor
摘要
In view of the drawbacks of different description methods for traditional scroll profile design, as well as the disconnection between profile parameters and the geometric performance of the scroll compressors, a new method for constructing scroll profiles was proposed. Firstly, the vector function and differential geometry theory were used to establish the integrated scroll profile functional equation. Then, the first three control coefficients in the integrated functional equation were taken as the research object, and the influence of each control coefficient changing on the scroll profile performance was discussed respectively, and the mapping relationship between the control coefficient and the geometric performance of the scroll profile was set up. Finally, the optimization strategies for control coefficients were summarized, and a series of scroll profiles that meet the requirements were selected using these optimization strategies. The research results indicate that the new method not only breaks the fragmented situation in profile research, but also achieves accurate description of scroll profiles, effectively solving the problem of blind parameter selection in profile design process, and providing references for reverse design of scroll profiles.
