Multi-attribute Evaluation and Decision-Making for Configuration Design

The assembly line is the basis of the automatic assembly of products, but the configuration scheme of the assembly line obtained by the matching, mapping and combination of assembly resources according to an assembly process is typically not unique. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the assembly configuration scheme and select the optimal one. The evaluation rules considering time, cost, performance, reliability and readiness of the assembly resources are established to evaluate the assembly line configurations. The decision-making algorithms based on rough set theory are designed to select the optimal assembly line configuration by calculating and ranking. An example of a reducer crankshaft assembly is used to demonstrate the evaluation and decision-making process of an assembly line.
