Characteristic Analysis of Pressure Pulsation Attenuation by Different Combinations of Inner Cannula

Hydraulic system’s pressure pulsation has a great influence on the accuracy and performance of the actuator, so it is great significance to study the attenuation and control of pressure fluctuations. Based on the basic theory of the single expansion pulsation attenuator with internal intubation, the structures of the internal intubation part in four ways were optimized and analyzed using the fluent software. The results were shown that the pressure pulsation attenuation of the expansion part of the internal intubation was worse than that of the contraction part when the outlet was fixed. The attenuation effect on the pressure pulsation was related to the internal intubation’s size and length of the contraction angle. In order to achieve pressure pulsation’s maximum attenuation, the internal intubation part should be contracted under a certain outlet pressure.
