Conceptual Design Method for Mechanical Products Based on Historical 3D Model Design Knowledge
摘要
Conceptual design is a crucial stage in the product development process. It plays a decisive role in the final form and performance of the product. This paper proposes a method for conceptual design of mechanical products based on historical 3D model design knowledge, aiming to efficiently reuse 3D model design knowledge. First, the RFSCO model is developed for knowledge representation of 3D model. The design knowledge is extracted from the 3D model of mechanical products using the RFSCO model. Then, the requirement, function, structure, constraint and operation ontologies are defined. The domain knowledge graph of mechanical products is constructed by Neo4j software. Finally, according to the requirements, the structure design scheme and the operations for constructing the 3D model of mechanical products can be obtained by knowledge graph inference analysis. The conceptual design model of mechanical products is developed. To validate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method, validation experiments are conducted on a typical structural part. The obtained results showcase the method's proficiency in recommending appropriate structural solutions for specific products requirements and generating a conceptual model that aligns with the given requirements. Furthermore, the approach also demonstrates exceptional scalability and practicality.
