Integrated Assembly and Disassembly Sequence Planning for Multifunctional Complex Products

Typical assembly and disassembly sequence planning approaches are performed as independent tasks. However, in some special cases, disassembly and assembly have a close connection. A framework of integrated assembly and disassembly sequence planning for multifunctional products is presented. A case in multifunctional rescue equipment illustrated the method. The proposed method significantly reduces the time of operation compared to the serial disassembly and assembly method.
