Inter-generational Aging Design of Community Fitness Space and Equipment
摘要
With the development of an aging society and changes in contemporary family structures, intergenerational parenting has become a common phenomenon. This paper explores the integration of intergenerational interaction and community fitness spaces from the perspective of grandparents and grandchildren. Addressing the issue of community fitness spaces and equipment primarily designed for individual users and the underutilization of health space planning, this study focuses on the intergenerational aging design of community fitness spaces and equipment. By adopting a layout model of “elderly rest area+” and creating a composite space of “multifunctional area+”, as well as designing a “customized zone+” fitness path and accompanying fitness equipment, this design aims to balance the diverse needs of both generations. The goal is to create a community fitness environment that promotes intergenerational parent–child interaction and sharing, fostering the overall health and development of multiple age groups.
