摘要

Material stiffness, one of the core factors affecting the dynamic performance of assembled systems, is designed for regulating the natural frequency of connecting structures in this work. A weighted multi-subgroup fruit fly optimization algorithm (WMFOA) is proposed and applied to solve the material stiffness design problem, where the Young’s modulus of the connecting structure is defined as the design variable. Two natural frequency regulation problems are addressed, including maximizing the chosen natural frequency and maximizing the gap of two natural frequencies given arbitrarily. The effectiveness of the proposed material stiffness design method in regulating the natural frequency of connecting structure is demonstrated on a bolted connection structure consisting of two compressor discs extracted from an aero-engine high-pressure rotor.
