Adoption of Artificial Intelligence in Business Operations of Technology Firms
摘要
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has brought about significant transformation in the topography of business operations in large technology at a global level. Addressing the growing need of investigating the factors that influence adoption of AI in business processes in technology organizations, this study collects data from 252 middle-level employees about their perception and attitude towards AI in business operations. Statistical analysis of the data shows that while performance expectancy has a significant positive effect on employee attitude and intention to use AI in business operations, effort expectancy does not have any significant effect. Also, it is found that employee attitude mediates the relationship of performance expectancy and effort expectancy with intention to use AI. The study provides us with interesting insights for practitioners about nuances of implementing AI in business operations in large technology organizations.
