Research on the Anti-offset Performance of a Wireless Power Transfer System with Asymmetric Coupling Coils
摘要
The coupling mechanism plays a crucial role in the Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) system, as it directly impacts the efficiency and reliability of the system’s operation. In certain specialized applications like implantable medical devices, there are strict limitations on the size of the receiving coil in WPT systems. Traditional WPT coupling coils with larger dimensions fail to meet these application requirements and exhibit drawbacks such as poor anti-offset performance. To address these issues, this paper proposes an asymmetric coupling coils structure for hexagonal coils. Unlike conventional designs, this approach allows for different parameters between the transmitting and receiving coils. By employing circuit theory and electromagnetic theory, we analyze the characteristics of this asymmetric coupling coils and determine its transmission properties accordingly. Furthermore, a finite element software is utilized to optimize specific parameters for achieving optimal coupling performance. Finally, an experimental platform is established to validate the effectiveness of our designed coupling coils.
