Multi Frequency and Multi Load IPT System for CP Charging of Supercapacitors with Maximum Efficiency Tracking

In order to achieve simultaneous wireless charging of multiple supercapacitors (SCs), a multi frequency and multi load SC wireless charging system is proposed. The decoupled power transmission theory is analyzed, and the conditions for constant power (CP) charging and maximum efficiency tracking (MET) is obtained. A CP charging and MET control strategies, as well as SC charging management strategies are designed. Simulation experiments are used to verify the effectiveness of the proposed system and method, and the experimental results well agree with the theoretical analysis. It shows that the proposed control strategy has improved system efficiency and safety, which is an ideal technical means for multi SCs wireless charging.
