摘要

With the implementation of China’s “carbon peak, carbon neutrality” strategy, the application of renewable energy grid connected converters has developed rapidly. The grid connected converter does not have an actual rotor and cannot provide rotational inertia. Large scale use will cause a decrease in the inertia level of the power grid system. Therefore, in order to ensure the frequency stability of the power grid, the grid connected inverter needs corresponding inertia support. By analyzing the relationship between inertia coefficient and energy storage demand, the similarities and differences in the inertia support principles of synchronous generators and grid connected inverters were analyzed. The relationship between the inertia support control of energy storage equipment and the inertia simulation control of inverters on the inertia support of the power grid was derived. A simulation operation scenario for grid connected inverters was built using Simulink, and the simulation results are consistent with theoretical analysis.
