Comprehensive Evaluation of Photovoltaic Grid-Connected System Based on a Novel Grid-Connection Technology

In order to evaluate the feasibility of the motor-generator pair (MGP) in practical applications and compare it with direct grid-connected method, this paper takes photovoltaic system as an example, and first constructed the evaluation criteria for the system from three attributers: technicality, stability and economy. Then, the weights of different indicators are calculated using the AHP-entropy method, and finally the comprehensive scores of the two schemes of direct grid-connection and MGP grid-connection are obtained by using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. The comprehensive evaluation results show that although the MGP scheme is inferior to direct grid-connected scheme in terms of economy, it is superior to the direct grid-connected scheme in terms of technical and stability aspects, and the advantages of the MGP scheme in terms of technology and stability make it superior to direct grid-connection in comprehensive evaluation results.
