Research Progress of Epoxy Resin-Based Heavy Anticorrosive Coatings for Offshore Wind Power Equipment

In the background of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals, offshore wind power is one of the main paths to achieve carbon neutrality goals. In the “14th Five-Year Plan”, China also clearly proposed to vigorously increase the scale of wind power and develop offshore wind power construction in an orderly manner. However, the marine environment is specific and extremely complex, the corrosion of wind power equipment in service in the marine environment has caused huge losses to the national economy. Coating technology is one of the most important means of anti-corrosion of offshore wind power equipment. Traditional epoxy resin-based heavy anticorrosive coatings have poor anticorrosive effect and pollute the environment, making it difficult to adapt to the anticorrosive requirements and environmental protection requirements under special conditions. This paper introduces the current research progress and modification methods of epoxy resin-based heavy anticorrosive coatings for offshore wind power, and looks forward to the development trend of epoxy resin-based heavy anticorrosive coatings.
