Research on Loss of 3.5 kVA High Frequency Single-Phase Inverter for EMU

摘要

Introduces a high frequency single phase inverter for EMUs. Different from the traditional power frequency isolation transformer, the high frequency single phase inverter is small in size, light in weight and high in power density. In order to solve the problems such as narrow installation space and poor heat dissipation condition of single-phase inverter on train, the original SI devices is replaced by SIC devices, the switching frequency is increased, the volume of magnetic component is reduced, and the heat dissipation of power component is optimized. The modulation strategy of full-bridge converter and full-bridge inverter is briefly introduced, and the loss calculation of SIC device is analyzed in detail. Then, the loss calculation and simulation are carried out for single-phase inverter, and the simulation results are basically consistent with the theoretical calculation. To balance switching lossand ringing, a double pulse test was performed. Finally, the whole test is verified on the prototype.
