Plant System Biology
摘要
Modern systems biology emerged owing to the necessity to translate the massive amounts of data produced by genome-scale investigations into physiologically relevant insights. Given the large datasets produced by several omics technologies, systems integration in plant biology is urgently needed. A smaller number of platforms have been developed that coalesce multidimensional information to create models for delineating biological interactions in plants, in contrast to the enormous recent efforts to generate large datasets. A comprehensive study covering multiple kinds of networks and strong standpoints is lacking yet for plant systems biology, and most prior reviews concentrated on the application in one specific area of plant biology. This chapter aims to offer a thorough overview of recent developments in incorporating multidimensional data into networks and review multidisciplinary subjects related to plant systems biology.
