Extraction of Seven Parameters of Double Diode Model Using Analytical and Optimization Method with RTC FRANCE PV Module Manufacturing Data

摘要

The entire world is moving towards readily available, widely used renewable electricity sources. When considering the ideal energy model strategy, solar energy comes to mind. As solar energy can be used, a conversion device that converts solar energy into electrical energy is required. This conversion device is made up of photovoltaic (PV) cells or modules. Finding the ideal value for the double diode model's parameter is the major goal of this paper. In this paper, we used analytical and optimization method such as PSO and WDO to assess seven double diode mode parameters: photon current (Iph), diode saturation current (Is) for diode 1 and diode 2, diode ideality factor (A) for diode 1 and diode 2, series resistance (Rs), and shunt resistance (Rs). Standard data sheet from RTC France are used to calculate different unknown parameters. To demonstrate the efficacy of the suggested approach, the performance of analytical methods has been compared with that of particle swarm optimization and the Wind Driven Optimization method. The simulation results unmistakably show that as compared to analytical approaches, the suggested PSO algorithm and Wind Driven Optimization (WDO) offer greater performance.
