Smart Distribution Transformer Monitoring and Managing System
摘要
Transformers are employed in energy distribution and transmission because they decrease the primary voltage to a level that is appropriate for customer usage. As transformer problems are costly to fix, it is preferable to avoid them before they occur. In the past few years, there has been a large interest in machine-to-machine communication, also known as the Internet of Things (IOT), where autonomous devices can exchange information using the Internet. The goal of this project is to create a prototype for real-time monitoring and recording of important distribution transformer operating parameters such as load current, voltage, temperature value, and oil level. The Node MCU receives the sensed data, which is then transmitted to the Adafruit web server through the Wi-Fi module. If the sensors identify abnormal conditions such as increased current, increased or decreased voltage, increased temperature, or decreased oil level, the relay will trigger and shut the transmission using input from the Node MCU.
