摘要

A microgrid can be described as a group of energy sources and loads that are decentralized in nature. The microgrid usually operates when it is connected to a wide area conventional grid. But it can disconnect itself from the conventional grid and operate autonomously in ‘islanded mode’ when technical or economic conditions require this. It can ensure the continuity of supply within the microgrid cell. In urgent needs, microgrid can supply power switching between islanded and grid-connected mode. Furthermore, microgrids are complicated network made up of numerous modern power system devices. In this study, a microgrid is considered as our base system and then two Electric Vehicles (EVs) battery and chargers are connected as load. With the help of ETAP platform, the load flow analysis and short circuit analysis are conducted for the system under different conditions and configurations. Moreover, the results obtained are compared to study the behavior of the system.
