Hadrons in the Sakai-Sugimoto Model

A brief introduction to the gauge/gravity (string) correspondence is provided, then we overview the theoretical development of this correspondence until it becomes applicable to the analysis of QCD. Using the Sakai-Sugimoto model resulting from these efforts, we give a method for obtaining the mass spectrum of mesons. In addition, we provide a description of baryons in this model. For this purpose, we will explain the collective coordinate quantization of solitons.
