摘要

Jakarta is facing big issue in traffic congestion, which is why the transportation sector requires special attention. The Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta has provided better public transportation system, including Mass Rapid Transit (MRT). This mode of transportation offers the basic concept of Transit-Oriented Development (TOD), where areas surrounding the stations are accessible on foot. The spatial conditions in TOD-based areas can be assessed using the TOD Index evaluation. Each TOD Index criterion has its own set of indicators. This research explores four criteria to measure the TOD Index in five MRT stations. Data processing was done using spatial analysis, allowing for a holistic analysis of each indicator from a spatial perspective. Results show that the Dukuh Atas TOD area has the highest TOD index, which is 0.91, while The Lebak Bulus TOD area has the lowest TOD value, which is 0.46. Through this research, it is hoped that policymakers will pay attention to each. This finding recommends some improvement on the existing TOD for decision-maker in achieving the better Jakarta transportation system.
