Project-Based Learning for In-depth Understanding of IoT Architecture: Design of IoT Liquid Flow Monitoring System Based on LoRa Communication
摘要
With the rapid development of the Internet of Things (IoT) industry, there is an increasing demand for cultivating industry talents in society. However, students often face difficulties in deeply understanding the four-layer architecture of IoT in the relevant subjects taught in colleges and universities. Additionally, LoRa, which represents low-power wide area networks, has been widely used in the IoT industry in recent years, but students have low awareness of it. To address these issues, this article proposes a project-based learning method that aims to help students combine theoretical knowledge with practical projects, gain an in-depth understanding of the IoT architecture, and expose them to LoRa, an emerging communication technology. This approach will improve their comprehensive practical ability and better meet the IoT industry’s need for well-rounded talents.
