VTIS: Research and Implementation of Virtual Teaching Interactive Space

The globalization of the economy and technology has led to a growing demand for online collaboration. At the same time, the rapid development of virtual reality technology has drawn more and more attention to the emerging field of “metaverse”. As an application scenario of metaverse, virtual teaching provides important support for exploring new teaching methods. Research on the application of virtual human technology in the teaching scene has important theoretical significance and practical application value. This paper discusses the theoretical concept of virtual teaching interactive space (VTIS) in depth, defines the elements in it clearly, and analyzes the relationship between the elements in VTIS under different perspectives. To validate the proposed theory of virtual teaching elements, this paper designs and implements a modular virtual teaching interactive space (VTIS), and evaluates it from multiple perspectives.
