An Educator who Dreamed of Leading the People to Freedom Through Education. Akhmet Baitursynov (1873–1938)
摘要
This chapter details information about the educator A. Baitursynov, who dreamed of paving the way for his people to the future through education. He reformed the Kazakh script, which had been abolished after two scripts, first to the Latin alphabet and then to the Cyrillic alphabet. Its alphabet is still used today by Kazakhs living in China, Iran, and Afghanistan.
