The Poet Who Awakened the Kazakhs. Myrzhakyp Dulatov (1885–1935)

This chapter tells about the poet, brilliant publicist, and editor of the newspaper «The Kazakh» M. Dulatov. He was persecuted by the colonial authorities for his freedom-loving poems, the circulation of his poetry collection «Wake up, Kazakh!» was confiscated due to the anti-colonial nature of the works. He was a member of the Alash-Horde government.
