The chapter is dedicated to the activities of the lawyer, expert in international law, and outstanding publicist R. Marsekov, who devoted his life to defending the rights and interests of the Kazakh people, who became victims of the colonialist policies. He revealed the mechanisms of colonization and resettlement policies pursued by Tsarist Russia.
