Role of Public Health in Sustainable Development
摘要
In 2015, countries around the world adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, a common plan to achieve peace and prosperity for people and the world. Seventeen Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were adopted, recognizing that eradicating poverty must go hand in hand with improving health and education, reducing inequality, and growing the economy while tackling climate change and protecting our oceans and forests. To support this hope, Health in Action has several publications on various Sustainable Development Goals here. Sustainable development in public health is often measured by the life expectancy index at birth, which gives an idea about the life expectancy index at birth and Human health ( https://cdn.who.int/media/docs/default-source/gho-documents/metadata/hale-metadata.pdf?sfvrsn=4f47fd43_1&download=true ). There are also global trends where people are living longer and health inequalities are increasing. This is mainly due to low income, health problems, and low mobility.
