摘要

Tea plant, an important nonalcoholic beverage crop, is extensively cultivated worldwide. The exponential growth of biological sequence data has made it possible to explore the diversity, evolutionary patterns, and the underlying mechanisms governing essential metabolites and agronomic traits in tea plant. Nonetheless, the unavailability of a standardized platform for data processing, efficient analysis, organization, and visualization poses a significant obstacle in accessing this valuable information. In this chapter, we present several biological databases for tea plant that are specifically designed to store genome sequences, genetic variations, gene expression, alternative splicing, metabolites, and genotype-to-phenotype associations sourced from various genomic and phenotype resources. These databases serve as valuable repositories and also assist researchers in tea biology with data analysis and visualization.
